Uninsurable Risks

We cannot insure homes with the following:
|
|
*Vacant properties
|
|
*Trampolines
|
|
*Exotic or Farm Animals
|
|
*ATV's or similar vehicles
|
|
*Homes in very poor condition or presenting likely liability risk
|
|
*Homes with any of the following dogs (even if mixed with other breeds:)
|
| Akita, Chow, Doberman, Great Dane, German Shepherd, Husky Types, Keeshond, Malamute, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier, Wolf Mixes |
|
*Properties with more than 3 dogs of any breed or a dog that has bitten
|
|
*Homes without permanently installed heat source
|
|
*Homes located on more than 5 acres
|
|
*Homes located over water or with with a crawl space or "short stilts"
|
|
*Homes in areas of past sink hole activity
|
|
*Homes with swimming pools that have diving boards or slides.
|
|
*Pools must either be caged or surrounded by a sturdy 4 ft high locking
gate
|
|
*Homes over 40 years old may only be written with limitations
|
|
*Seasonal homes must be owner occupied at least 3 months each year.
|
|
*If rented, must be written as rental property
|
| *Porches or decks that are 2 ft or more high must have handrails |
